Home sweet home

Well, after all that excitement, family de Cozar Rushforth finally made it home.

Baby slept the entire journey, and then some, racking up about 2-3 hours continuous sleep.

A trend which did not last all night. Though she did make it out of our bed and into the moses basket. For 10 minutes.

No Rowan I agree...sorry Paul and Katie its not advice its self preservation. Mummy and Daddys bed is for Mummy and Daddy - you'll thank us when her legs get bigger and she would be kicking you out!!! Trust me!

You all look great - so well. Welcome to the world Lola!!!

One of my best memories was being in bed with Nan and granddad and with my granddad and grandma and still sometimes when and I’m going to sleep I think of them as it felt safe and comfortable.
The rule is be happy do what ever seems right and comfortable at the time and what ever you do even if is wrong “Don’t ever feel guilty” all that she needs is love and that is what she is getting.
Love you all
Gus
PS you can always play a couple of language CD in the background and she could learn Latin and Ancient Greek at the same time.

Freyja spent most of the first few weeks of her life sleeping in our bed. We moved her to her own room at 3 months, without any problems, though if we couldn't get her back to sleep when she woke in the night we would often end up with her back in our bed.

Now, at 2, she comes in the bed with us in the morning on the weekends and on the odd occasion if I can't get her back to sleep at night. It hasn't caused us a problem.

Whatever works for you is what is right. Personally, while I wouldn't want it to be a regular thing, I love those times when we have her snuggled up between us.
