I absolutely love this picture. Paul looks lovely – knackered, but gorgeous. Both Paul and I absolutely hated DIY related trips when we were younger, but thoroughly enjoyed this one to B&Q to choose garden furniture. One of the effects of parenthood I guess. Advance apologies to Lola for all of the boring weekend excursions to Currys, B&Q, Carpetright etc we're going to put you through during your life...

Sadly I fear it is a part of the brain that kicks in and switches the domestic level up a notch. Then you later find yourself sounding like you're parents and I wonder now if this is the gradual decline in trying to be a "cool" Mum and Dad being hip and groovy in a desperate attempt not to sound like them. My God - I think I need therapy now....
Thing is she loves you and you love her and that is all that matters. Our love to all of you xx
